John Fournelle is a queer theologian, having graduated from Bethel Seminary with a Masters of Arts (Christian Thought) in June 2013. His thesis was on developing an integrative soteriology using the works of Paul Tillich and Gustavo Gutiérrez, but also wrote several papers on queer theology. His current research interests are queer Christian sexual ethics, and the intersections of the thought of Paul Tillich and queer theology.
